In 15 years I see myself living in a rented house. By than I will have finished college and started publishing books. I will have published at least my first book by this time and will be working in a second. I won't have a pet since I used to have one and quite frankly it's a lot of work. I will live in the country since I don't know how I could function in a big cramped city. I would have a social media presence for the fans of my books and I hope that I can stay connected with them. I want to still have time with my friends and family. But must of all I hope that I can be a better person.

Predict- I predict that that Scrooge will change his ways. He is a very sad old man in a night gown right now, however he will go on a journey that will make him a better person. Marley might scare Scrooge now but what happens on this journey might scare him even more.
Visualize- I always imagine the Michael Cain version of Scrooge. The descriptions really make me picture Victorian London. While we have only met Marley so far I'm interested to see if the descriptions of the three spirits live up to how I imagine them. Question- Some of the words are definitely confusing because of the time gap. While I know the story very well Scrooges view point still makes me question how the world works. The historical expect of it all makes me wonder what disease Tiny Tim has or about how Victorian London works. End of talking about a Christmas Carol Connect- The book I'm currently reading I really connect with. The characters feel like people I would be friends with in real life. While the genre is fantasy the themes are relatable for a lot of people who share the same personnel experiences as the character such as dead parents. Identify- I think the authors purpose in my current book is to tell a fun story. His other books have similar plots but the tone of this one is a lot darker. Even though it's darker in tone the message of loyalty and the fact that it's a fun adventure our still there. Infer- One of the minor characters in the book is a main character in another of the authors books. The description given in this book makes me think this is set before those books. Also because of some of hand dialogue I was able to guess that one character was secretly a villain. Evaluate- My opinion is that the author is great with dialogue. Like all the books by the author the narration and description is hilarious. The author excels at spiting out exposition without making feel cluttered or confusing. All and all it is one of my favorite books of the past year. 10 story prompts
One pattern I have found in my writing is that I usually have a full circle ending. My characters usually tend to be a bit snarky but I have had stories where the characters have a different personality. I don't always write the same story some of my stories are small and set in one location while other stories I have written are set in multiple locations. I like writing stories that are in a smaller setting because I feel that I can make the the stories seem bigger. I can write funny characters and most of my stories are very different in plot and for some of them in tone. That being said "I don'ts do's the grammars". I also am a procrastinator so that doesn't help my use of time. Overall I like to write stories and I try to improve my writing with each one.
¨Hey Lampy get in my office now¨ said chief Acme Toaster. Crap detective Lampy the lamp thought. He could tell that the chief was mad because the smell of burnt toast filled the precinct. ¨We just got a call about you apparently breaking the lens of a pair of Sunglasses Malone¨ yelled Toaster. ¨He had it coming after what he did to Sporky¨ Lampy retorted. ¨Poor Spork was 3 days away from retirement¨. ¨You don´t think I know that¨ Toaster shouted but he had broken and was clearly getting emotional. ¨He lawyer-ed up Lampy, I am so sorry Lampy but your suspended until further notice. ¨No¨ Lampy told him in a firm voice, ¨I just don´t have a job anymore¨ and with that he walked out the door as chief called his name.
I like to read stories that make me care about what happens to it's characters. The stories I read depend on what mood I'm in but if I don't care about what happens then I'm not going to like the story. When I write I try to get different reactions from my different stories. For my seconded story in creative writing I wanted to shock people with the ending. For my setting story I just wanted to make them laugh. What I really like are stories that get different reactions out of you like a horror story with humor. Those are the types of stories that I like to read and write.
I found a really great six word story on the website it is ¨Torched the haystack. Found the needle¨. This saying to me represents finding new and creative solutions to problems. It is a play on the saying that's like finding a needle in a haystack. It means something is a one in a million chance while this is saying is more like nothing is impossible. It inspired me to write some of my own six word sentences, so here they are.
Hello again. Nice to meet you. It's a nice day. Dang it. Tim was sitting on his couch with his loyal dog Badger. He was depressed and as a joke asked Badger "What do think of life boy"? He was very surprised when he answered. "Well for one thing be willing to put yourself out there. We've lived together for 5 years and this is the first time you have asked me a intelligent question. Second you got to stop with the McDonald's every other day why don't you shove a piece of plywood done your throat while your at it. Tim you okay there buddy"? "Uh" Tim replied. "Good" said Badger, "Also when voting comes around this year make for you don't vote for those blowhards who don't offer any solutions to problems and just complain about problems. But that's just my two-sense on it. So Tim did that help you"? Tim then preceded to faint, fall off the couch, and go to his psychiatrist office several times a week.
